Multi-Region Solar Deployment for New Branch Construction

Scope of work

PSG was selected to deliver a fully turnkey solar solution across 100+ branch locations and counting, covering everything east of the Mississippi River.

Services include:

  • Solar system design and engineering

  • Drawings, permitting, and utility interconnection

  • Rooftop solar installation and commissioning

  • Coordination across union and non-union job sites

  • Ongoing deployment across a rolling pipeline of new builds

System sizes range approximately from 10 kW to 50 kW, with installations varying by site layout and rooftop capacity.

Results & Impact

  • Solar deployed across 100+ branch locations, with additional sites continually entering the pipeline

  • Accelerated installation timelines supporting on-schedule branch openings

  • Long-term cost reduction through on-site energy ownership

  • Strengthened client confidence through consistent execution and predictable outcomes

Beyond immediate energy benefits, the program supports JPMorgan Chase’s broader renewable energy objectives while establishing a repeatable model for future expansion.

Why PSG

JPMorgan Chase & JLL continue to partner with PSG because of our ability to:

  • Deliver turnkey renewable solutions at scale

  • Integrate smoothly with construction teams and operating branches

  • Execute quickly once approvals are in place

  • Support national sustainability initiatives with regional precision

Project Overview

PSG Energy Services partnered with JPMorgan Chase Bank and JLL to support a large-scale renewable energy initiative tied primarily to new branch construction across the Midwest, Northeast, and Mid-Atlantic regions. The program focuses on integrating rooftop solar into new builds at scale, helping Chase advance its long-term sustainability goals while maintaining consistency across regions and partners.

This ongoing, multi-year engagement represents a continual flow of projects rather than a one-time rollout, requiring coordination, speed, and repeatable execution.

The Challenge

JPMorgan Chase Bank sought to transition a significant portion of its branch energy usage to renewable sources as part of a broader sustainability strategy. With dozens of sites in motion at any given time, and most locations tied to new construction, the program required a partner capable of integrating seamlessly into active build schedules without slowing branch openings or operations.

Managing design, permitting, and installation across multiple regions and stakeholders added further complexity.

The Solution

PSG was selected as a trusted renewable energy partner based on its experience in the financial sector and its established relationship with JLL. In addition to solar, PSG’s nationwide capabilities across LED and other energy solutions reinforced confidence in its ability to deliver at scale.

PSG provided a hands-off, end-to-end approach, managing each project from initial design through final commissioning. Once permits are approved, PSG mobilizes quickly, often completing solar installations within five business days, keeping projects aligned with construction timelines and minimizing coordination burden for the client.
